The popular
set of twins who were born with same body and head have died after 19 days of life.
Hope and
Faith, who also only had one set of organs, were born with craniofacial
duplication (diprosopus) on May 8 in Sydney, Australia.
The outlook
from the beginning had been poor but their parents Simon Howie and Renee Young
had said any time spent with them would be a plus.

‘If I only
get two days with the baby I only get two days,’ Young told a TV show. ‘I’ll at
least have some time with her.’
Although the
twins shared most body parts, they possessed separate brains, which caused a
problem as they only had one skull.
‘I think
there are going to be a lot of challenges afterwards related to the way the
brains develop,’ added Dr Greg Kesby just after they were born.
