PMAN President Welcomes Brazilian Billionaire for Strategic Partnership Talks in Abuja




Abuja – Mr. Pretty Okafor, the President of the Performing Musicians Employers' Association of Nigeria (PMAN), recently hosted a high-profile meeting with Brazilian billionaire investor Mr. Fabio Pavan, marking a new chapter of potential growth and investment for Nigeria's music industry. Joining them was Mr. Tope Onifade, an international business consultant, alongside a delegation of notable figures from PMAN and the business sector.

The initial discussions took place at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel before moving to PMAN’s property in the Kukwaba District, where both parties finalized a funding agreement aimed at fueling the association's growth and strengthening its infrastructure.

Also in attendance were veteran musician Mr. Daniel Wilson, architect and CEO of SWC Ltd, Mr. Felix Arome, representing Olusco Heritage & Investment Ltd; Henrie Eduozor, Esq., legal counsel to PMAN; PMAN's FCT Governor, Mr. Sydney Jack Sparrow; and Mr. Akin Olu Phillips, all adding expertise and support to the partnership.

Mr. Okafor’s leadership and vision for PMAN's future impressed Mr. Pavan, who voiced strong support for Okafor's strategic goals focused on sustainable development within Nigeria's creative sector. This partnership, initiated under Okafor’s administration, is expected to drive significant advancements in the industry, reinforcing PMAN's role as a key stakeholder in Nigeria's cultural and economic landscape.
