The Performing Musicians Employers Association of Nigeria (PMAN) has announced a groundbreaking partnership with Brazilian investor Mr. Fabio Pavan, marking a transformative milestone for Nigeria’s creative and economic landscape. The partnership, aimed at accelerating growth across PMAN and the wider Nigerian creative industry, was finalized after months of strategic discussions between PMAN’s President, Mr. Pretty Okafor, and Mr. Pavan, alongside international business consultant Mr. Tope Onifade.
Leading the negotiation, Mr. Okafor was joined by a team of prominent figures, including Mr. Onifade, PMAN’s legal counsel Henrie Eduozor, Esq., veteran musician and entrepreneur Mr. Daniel Wilson, architect and CEO of SWC Ltd Mr. Felix Arome (representing Olusco Heritage & Investment Ltd), and PMAN’s FCT Governor, Mr. Sydney Jack Sparrow. Together, their combined expertise highlighted PMAN’s dedication to fostering sustainable, high-impact international partnerships within Nigeria’s creative sector.
The pivotal meeting took place at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja, and concluded at PMAN’s property in the Kukwaba District, where the delegation celebrated the signing of a substantial funding agreement. This partnership will provide essential backing for PMAN’s Abuja project, accelerating its completion and paving the way for an expanded trade relationship between Nigeria and Brazil.
Mr. Fabio Pavan commended Mr. Okafor’s dynamic leadership, applauding his vision for positioning PMAN as a global leader in the creative industry. According to Mr. Pavan, the partnership will not only drive PMAN’s growth but also create valuable opportunities for Nigerian talent, expanding access to both Nigerian and Brazilian markets.
“This partnership is a testament to PMAN’s commitment to sustainable development and a brighter future for the Nigerian creative industry,” said Mr. Pretty Okafor. “It demonstrates our capacity to attract substantial international investment, establishing a collaborative trade relationship that will benefit Nigeria’s economy and cultural reach on the world stage.”
The Performing Musicians Employers Association of Nigeria eagerly anticipates this new chapter with its Brazilian partners and encourages both Nigerian and global audiences to follow PMAN’s ambitious vision. As Nigeria’s creative arts ascend to new heights, PMAN remains dedicated to setting a standard of innovation, cultural pride, and economic strength for the industry.
