The Lagos State Coordinator, National Youth Service Corps, NYSC,
Mr Cyril Akhanemhe, has appealed to Lagos State Government to make adequate
provision for a more befitting permanent orientation camp in the state.
Akhanemhe, who made this appeal at the NYSC Orientation
Camp, in Iyana-Ipaja, during the swearing-in ceremony of the 2015 Batch
‘A’ Stream I corps members, deployed to
Lagos State.
The Coordinator said the NYSC current orientation camp at
Iyana-Ipaja was no longer conducive and spacious to contain the ever increasing
members of the corps yearly.
He commended Goernor Babatunde Fashola for his unwavering
support to the scheme especially in the provision of quality welfare to corps
members.
