Following
the claims that Pastor Chris Oyakhilome and wife is experiencing marital
crisis, Senior Pastors of the Christ Embassy International church say all is
well between Chris and his wife, Anita. They have described the viral online
reports as "make-up stories."
The rumor
started after some ‘concerned members of the church’ opened a facebook account
named ‘Where is Rev. Anita Oyahkilome’ to enumerate why they think the marriage
may have hit the rocks.
In the page,
the members said "Pastor Chris, has never been spotted with his wife by
his side – not during ministry conferences, not during conferences by other
ministers and never during the monthly communion service transmitted live from
a TV studio.
They
inquired further why other high ranking women in the ministry who are close to
the Pastor travel with him always.
Although the
church is yet to release an official statement, one of the senior pastors,
Pastor Mercy told punch "It is not true; it is a rumor. All these things
are make-up stories..the Facebook post is an absolute fallacy.”
