OAU Students On Rampage.Seize Presidency Convoy

 It has been reported that the Students of Obafemi Awolowo University,Ile Ife had yesterday seized a Toyota bullet proof SUV with ‘Presidency’ inscription and registration number, FG902-B02 for trying to drive in between them while they were protesting an increase in their tuition fees.

According to protesters, security details attached to the convoy shot to scare protesters but two students were wounded in the process.

The vehicle was later captured and seized by students who surrounded it and said they demand an apology. It will be recalled that, the protest started when students alleged that their fees have been increased from N17,000 to over N100,000. See more pictures after the cut.
