Its Nyanya Again: A School Bus Hijack By Armed Robbers In Abuja

An 18-sitter school bus belonging to a private school this morning, 6th of May, 2014 has been snatched in Nyanya, Abuja by unknown gunmen. The school bus belongs to The Vine International Academy and it was reported as a robbery and not hijack, as it was earlier reported online.

However, Parents in Nyanya and other neighbouring communities after the hijack rumour, dashed to schools to pick their children and all efforts made by the school authorities to convince them all was well, fell on parents deaf ears, as no one was willing to allow their children stay back in school.
