Metro News-Two women and three children, have been reported to have died
following a house fire in Sheffield,UK.
Two women, believed to be the children’s aunt and
grandmother, were killed after a ‘severe’ fire in Wake Road, Sharrow.
The cousin of one of the women who died said a
nine-week-old baby girl was among the children who died, and that the other
children were aged nine and seven. Ishfaq Hussain Kayani said: ‘It’s just a huge tragedy.
Words cannot describe how sad this is.
‘It’s a tragedy beyond description.’ He said.
According to South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue, the fire
broke out in the terraced house just after midnight.
The fire services sent four fire engines and used an
aerial ladder to tackle the blaze.
A spokesman for South Yorkshire Police has said: ‘At this
stage we are not able to confirm where in the house the fire broke out or if
anyone else was injured.’
The cause of the fire outbreak has not been ascertained but investigators has been reported to be on ground
to
establish the fire’s cause.
