As the corpse of the late Nigeria Football Federation Technical Director and former Super Eagles Coach, Amodu Shaibu, has left the Stella Obasanjo Hospital in Benin in a convoy for his hometown, Okpella, Nigerians are beginning to wonder how both ex-Super eagles coach had to die within three days in the same city.
Amodu who died this morning in Benin City is scheduled for burial today according to Islamic rites.
Amodu coached Nigeria in six stints‚ the last as caretaker taking over from the perennially-fired Keshi in 2015. He qualified the Super Eagles for the 2002 and 2010 World Cups‚ but did not take the team to either tournament.
His death, which comes three days after that of ex-Super Eagles Coach, Stephen Keshi, has shocked Nigerians.
Recall that a warning was publicise in Bening recently that no one should cook with fire in the state.
This according to report is one of the rites that must be observed as the city of Benin is conducting royal transition from the late Oba to the new one
