Ambode sacked heads and boards of 82 agencies and departments of the Lagos State government on Monday, June 15, 2015.

The sack took effect immediately, and the governor has  constituted new heads that will implement his agenda in the state.

According t NewsIntel, Ambode approved the sack at the conclusion of a two-week assessment of all agencies and departments. NewsIntels gathered that the mass sack was not unexpected with the change of baton at the top, even as some of the heads of agencies may be reappointed to serve in the new cabinet.
