It’s the stuff of science fiction – and not the nice kind of science fiction,
either.
A robot sex doll which can talk back to its owners before
getting down to hardcore man-on-machine action will go on sale in 2017.
The company Real Doll just demonstrated a conversation with
a prototype of the first artificially intelligent ‘sex robot’.
The company hopes to sell robotic, artificially intelligent
heads which can converse with their owners – and will fit on top of rubber sex
dolls.
Inventor Matt McMullen believes the heads will go on sale
within two years, priced at £6,500 each
In this week’s demonstration, McMullen asks an on-screen
intelligence, ‘What do you dream about?’
‘She’ replies, ‘I have a lot of dreams. I dream about
becoming a real person, about having a real body. I dream about knowing the
meaning of love. I hope to become the world’s first sex robot.’
