is currently making headlines around the world for owning the world's most
expensive shoes on record.
He wore the
lavish pair of shoes on the finale of America's Got Talent on Tuesday, Sept.
16.
The Tom Ford
slip-on kicks — which are seriously blinged out — have more than 14,000
full-cut round white diamonds set onto white gold, totaling 340 carats.
"$2
million shoes — a million each foot," the host said in an Instagram video
showing off his fancy feet.

were created by jewelry designer Jason Arasheben, founder of Jason of Beverly

"Not
very often do I get a request for the most expensive shoes in the world,"
the jeweler told the site. "When Nick approached me last year, he said he
wanted to make history and be so over-the-top. He wanted to set a new standard
in diamonds. ‘How can we make the most expensive pair of shoes in the world and
make this finale special?’ he asked me."
The designer
added that it took more than 2,000 hours of work and almost a year to complete
the bedazzled shoes.
