The Director of Youth and
Students Affairs, Goodluck Support Group, Prince Eka Williams has urged all
Nigerians both at home and in the diaspora to put aside all ethnic and
political differences and participate fully in the forthcoming National
Conference being convoked by the Federal Government.
Prince Williams opined that
the dialogue would certainly be in the best interest of all Nigerians, as the
exchange of ideas would be far more beneficial than the exchange of weapons of
war. He also called on all Nigerians to view their participation at the
National Conference as a national duty, which will benefit future generations
of Nigerians.
The youth mobilizer used the
medium to commend the leadership of President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, which he
described as very focused and persuasive. He further stated that a National
Conference has long been desired by Nigerians to foster unity, peace and mutual
coexistence and that President Jonathan deserves commendation for taking the
bold step of initiating the confab.
Prince Williams expressed
optimism that the conference will further reinforce Nigeria’s
unity in diversity, and urged all delegates to the conference to come with open
minds and contribute to the deliberations without acrimony or bias.
