Liverpool fans celebrated Johnson's injury like it was a goal

Liverpool didn’t have much to cheer about during last night’s defeat to Manchester City, but some fans found joy from an unlikely source.

Brendan Rodgers’ side had to see out the last five minutes of their 3-1 reversal at the Etihad Stadium with only 10 men after using all their substitutes when Glen Johnson limped out due to injury.

When the Reds boss revealed to Sky Sports that the England international’s thigh problem may see him spending a spell on the side-lines, some of the Anfield faithful (somewhat harshly) struggled to contain themselves…shouting like it was a goal!
